Tracked Email Invoices
Why it matters:
Every business needs to bring in money. It’s the crux of capitalism. When our customers email 100s if not 1,000s of invoices every month. They need to be able to see and have confidence that the batch of emails were sent and if there were errors, how to correct those.
What we built:
A new screen called “Batch Tracking” is now a tab in the membership module. This screen provides information about batched, emailed invoices. When a group of invoices are sent from one of the following places a status is viewable in this new screen:
Billing > Sales/ Invoices Tab
Billing > Pending Delivery Tab
Memberships > Unpaid Tab
The following details are currently available for review: 08.10.2021-10.24.33
Batch ID – this can also be used in the communication report for a more detailed view of what was sent 08.10.2021-10.26.24
Batch Name – The subject of the email sent
Person Who Hit Send
Time Stamp – When it was sent
Status – Tells you the number of invoices that were delivered out of how many were attempted
Exception – A clickable icon that will open a dialog to list the contacts that did not have a successful delivery.
This feature needs to be enabled for Tenants

FAQs
How long do I have to review the data?
The information is only available for 90 days. Ideally customers are reviewing right away so they can update and resend any failed emails
Will it tell me about emailed statements?
Not today, no. We started by tracking the three spots mentioned above. We would like to add more tracking options but don’t have a time slated as of today, please add or vote in User Voice to get other items tracked there
