v2 Field Label Changes and Alignment that affects v1

When making changes necessary to provide the best UI display in v2, there are a few changes we must do to shorten the words and labels that appear on the screens in v2 that will also affect the v1 UI. In addition alignment and section titles are being looked at too.

We will reap a dual-purpose benefit in many of these cases because the improvements required for v2 UI will also improve v1 as well.

Goals for field labels: 1) Make shorter; quickly describe the purpose 2) More understandable 3) Clean up alignment 4) logical ordering/grouping

Below are before and after screens showing these UI changes.

We also are adding more Tool Tips and on-screen help description as appropriate to accommodate the shorter field labels and/or to add additional help (not reflected in the screen shots).

Note: This is a ‘living’ document. We are adding screen shots as the various areas continue to be updated. However, the screen shots are the final versions that will be making it’s way out to production.
