Timed lessons are lessons with a specific time limit set by the instructor, ensuring you complete the lesson within that timeframe.

  1. Before you enter a timed lesson, a prompt asks if you are Ready to begin? The prompt displays the duration of the timed lesson and serves as a reminder of the time limit set for completion.

  2. You can choose to either Begin the lesson or Cancel and return to the course homepage.

3. Once you start the timed lesson, the countdown timer is displayed on the lesson page.

  • The timer is positioned at the bottom center of the page, is moveable, and remains visible while you work through the lesson showing the remaining time (HH:MM:SS) you have to complete the lesson.

The countdown timer starts in green and will change to red to indicate your time is almost out.

It is important to avoid starting a timed lesson if you are unable to complete it, as the timer will continue counting down even if you leave.

4. When the allotted time for your lesson is up, a notification will appear stating Time's Up!

  • After the lesson timer expires, a prompt will inform you that your progress has been saved. Your next steps may vary depending on how the instructor set the course. You may be given the choice to retake the lesson, be directed to the next lesson, or complete the entire course.
