Sharing Entire Screen

Keep in mind the limits of the system in use. Trying to share HI resolution monitor such as 4K could have undesirable results

Using Chrome or Edge

  1. Click the Screen Share Screen icon

  2. Click on the screen displayed in the Entire Screen tab

  3. Click Share

  4. To stop sharing click the Screen Share Icon again

If you are sharing a video make sure the Share audio is checked


Using Firefox

  1. Click the Screen Share Desktop icon

  2. Use the drop down to select the desired screen

  3. Click Share

  4. To stop sharing click the Screen Share Icon again

Firefox does not allow audio sharing. If you need to share anything with audio please use Chrome


Sharing Application Window

Make sure the desired Application Window is not minimized (minimized windows will not show up)

If sound is needed share the Entire Screen or Tab instead

Using Chrome or Edge

  1. Click the Screen Share Desktop Icon

  2. Click the Window tab

  3. Select the desired Application

  4. Click Share

  5. To stop sharing click the Screen Share Icon again


Using Firefox

Firefox does not allow audio sharing. If you need to share a video with audio, please use Chrome

  1. Click the Share Desktop icon

  2. Use the drop down to select desired application

  3. Click Share

  4. To stop sharing click the Screen Share Icon again


Sharing a Chrome or Edge tab

Make sure the desired Application Window is not minimized (minimized windows will not show up)

If you are sharing a video make sure the Share audio is checked

  1. Click the Share Desktop Icon

  2. Click Chrome Tab (Microsoft Edge Tab)

  3. Select the desired tab from the list

  4. Click Share

  5. To stop sharing click the Screen Share Icon again


Sharing video with audio (Chrome or Edge)

Firefox does not allow audio sharing. If you need to share a video with audio, please use Chrome

Entire screen

  1. Click the Share Desktop Icon

  2. Select the desired Screen

  3. Click Share audio (Lower left of Share Window) to add a check mark

  4. Click Share

  5. To stop sharing click the Screen Share Icon again


Browser tab

  1. Click the Screen Share Icon

  2. Click Chrome Tab (Microsoft Edge Tab)

  3. Select the desired tab from the list

  4. Click Share audio (Lower left of Share Window) to add a check mark

  5. Click Share

  6. To stop sharing click the Screen Share Icon again


Setup PowerPoint for Screen Sharing

  1. Open the desired PowerPoint presentation

  2. Select the Slide Show tab

  3. Click Set Up Slide Show

  4. Select Browsed by an individual (window)

  5. Click OK and start slide show

  6. Resize the window as needed so you can see both Juno session and slides

When resizing make sure there are no black space left around your slides.

If notes are needed, open another instance to view notes

Setup Keynote for Screen Sharing

  1. Open the desired Keynote presentation

  2. In the File bar, click Play

  3. From the dropdown, click Play Slideshow in Window

  4. Begin sharing your screen in Juno

  5. Resize windows as needed

When resizing make sure there are no black space left around your slides.

Sharing slideshow on a Mac in split window view

  1. Open PowerPoint

  2. Open the session

  3. Restore down both chrome and PowerPoint so they display on the same window

  4. Put the PowerPoint in presentation mode

  5. On the apple top bar click “Window”

  6. Select “Tile Window to Left of Screen” or “Tile Window to Right of Screen”

  7. Select the platform (Chrome) from the options displayed

This method without resizing the windows might make details in the slides harder to see by attendees

Setup Google Slides for Screen Sharing

  1. Open the desired Google Slides presentation

  2. Click the Present button

  3. Hover over the bottom-left of the slide

  4. Click the three vertical dot icon

  5. Click Exit full screen

  6. Resize the window as needed so you can see both Juno session and slides
