Viewing Prerequisites on the Course Homepage
As a learner, you can check the prerequisites for a course on its homepage.
Prerequisites Required Section:
On the course homepage, look for the Prerequisites Required section.
It displays the title Prerequisites and conditions for each set of prerequisites.
Displaying Prerequisites:
Prerequisites are displayed as a list.
When a prerequisite has equivalents, it shows the name of the prerequisite and its equivalents in one bullet point.
Unmet prerequisites
If a learner enrolls in a course that requires a prerequisite, the Start Course button is greyed out, and the prerequisites required are listed above the course description in a box that states Conditions must be met for the prerequisite(s) listed.
Start the course button
When a course has unmet prerequisites, the Start Course button is grayed out.
Prerequisites Required are displayed at the top left of the course description.
Prerequisites required popup
Selecting Start Course prompts the Prerequisites Required popup.
The popup states that You haven't completed the required prerequisites for this course yet. Please enroll in those courses first and return once they’ve been completed.
It provides a call to action button, OK.
