Lesson retakes
Lesson retakes allow learners to redo a lesson after completing it to improve their understanding or achieve a better score. By offering retakes, learners have the opportunity to reinforce their understanding, improve their performance, and engage more deeply with the course content.
Setting up retakes on a lesson
In the lesson editor, select the checkbox for Allow Retakes to enable the option for learners to retake the lesson.
In the dropdown menu titled Allow Retakes, you can choose from
Always (unlimited): Learners can retake the lesson an unlimited number of times.
Always* (limit retakes): Learners can retake the lesson only up to a specified quantity, which can be set in the Qty input field.
On Fail (unlimited): Learners can retake the lesson as many times as they fail.
On Fail* (limit retakes): Learners can retake the lesson if they fail, but only up to the quantity specified in the Qty field.
3. Save the settings to apply the retake rules to the lesson.
