Moderators

Note: Once you are on the session page, you will be able to watch/hear the presentation and participate in chat.

Turn on/off Microphone

Click on the ‘Audio’ button in the lower left corner.

Turn On/Off Camera

Click on the ‘Video’ button in the lower left corner.

Share Your Desktop

Note: When sharing you will only see 'Publishing Your Desktop'. Every on else will see what you are sharing instead
Note: If you are sharing a video with audio, you must select a Chrome tab, and check the ‘Share audio’ box in the lower left corner of the dialog.

Step 1: Click on the ‘Share Desktop’ button in the lower left corner

Step 2: Select the appropriate tab along the top: ‘Your Entire Screen,’ ‘Application Window,’ or ‘Chrome Tab.’

Step 3: Within each tab you will have options for which screen, application, or tab to share.

Step 4: Select the desired option and click the share button.

End Desktop Share

Click on the ‘Share Desktop’ button again.

Change Camera or Microphone

Step 1: Click the ‘Settings' button in the lower left corner.

Step 2: Select the dropdown for what source you want to change.

Step 3: Choose the source you would like to use.

Step 4: Click the ‘SAVE’ button to accept your changes.

Return to Attendee View

Click on the ‘leave’ button to remove only yourself from the presentation. This will remove you from the presentation, but you will still be able to watch and interact with chat.

Send Emojis

Click on the emoji you wish to send in the bottom right corner of the presentation. The emoji will then float up and be visible to everyone in the session.

Check Remaining Greenroom Time

Look in the bottom right corner of the presentation. There is a countdown that shows the time remaining until the session goes live.

Note: Consult your CSM for what will happen when the room goes live.

Check Remaining Live Session Time

Look in the bottom right corner of the presentation. There is the word ‘Live’ next to a countdown that shows the time remaining until the projected end of the session.

Note: The session will not ‘end’ when the timer reaches ‘0'. Everyone will remain in the session, and the timer will begin counting up, showing how much time has passed.

Send A Chat Message

Step 1: Select the ‘Chat’ tab in the chat window area.

Step 2: Type your message over ‘Type here’ at the bottom of the chat window.

Step 3: Press ‘Send’ or hit your ‘Enter’ key.

Remove Video and Audio from Screen

Step 1: Click the name in the desired presentation screen

Step 2: Click unpublish

Mute and Unmute Presenter's audio

Step 1: Click the name in the desired presentation screen

Step 2: Click Mute audio or Unmute audio

Mute Individual Speaker

Step 1: Right-Click inside the speaker's live view box

Step 2: Click 'show controls'

Step 3: Click the volume icon to mute speaker

Note: This will not mute the speaker for other attendees

Unmute Individual Speaker

Step 1: Right-Click inside the speaker’s live view box

Step 2: Click 'show controls'

Step 3: Click the volume icon to unmute speaker

Note: This will not unmute the speaker for other attendees

Mute and Unmute Presenter’s Video

Step 1: Click the name in the desired presentation screen

Step 2: Click Mute video or Unmute video

Delete Message

Step 1: Click on the red triangle symbol to the right of the message.

Step 2: Click on ‘Remove Message’.

Kick User

Step 1: Click on the red triangle symbol to the right of the message.

Step 2: Click on ‘Kick User.’

Ban User

Step 1: Click on the red triangle symbol to the right of the message.

Step 2: Click on ‘Kick + Ban User.’

Submit Question to Q&A

Step 1: Select the ‘Q&A’ tab in the chat window area.

Step 2: Type your message over ‘Type here’ at the bottom of the Q&A window.

Step 3: Press ‘Send’ or hit your ‘Enter’ key.

Vote for Question in Q&A

Click on the ‘Thumb’ underneath the question.

Note: Questions will automatically sort with the most voted for questions at the top.

Ask Presenter a Question

Step 1: Click the ‘Chat bubble’ next to the question.

Step 2: Select ‘Ask the presenter.’

Note: This will show the question on the presentation for all viewers to see.

Mark a Question as ‘Answered’

Step 1: Click the ‘Chat bubble’ next to the question.

Step 2: Select ‘Mark as answered.’

Add an Answer to a Question

Step 1: Click the ‘Chat bubble’ next to the question.

Step 2: Select ‘Add answer’

Step 3: Enter the answer in the text box that appears immediately below the question.

Step 4: Click ‘Send’

Note: This will do 3 things:
  1. Add your response as text below the question along with your name.

  2. Mark the question as ‘Answered.’

  3. Show the question + answer on the presentation for all viewers to see.

Activate a Poll

Note: Polls need to be submitted to JUNO before the session goes live to allow us to enter them.

Step 1: Select the ‘Polls’ tab in the chat window area.

Step 2: Click on ‘Choose a question to send…’

Step 3: Select the question you would like to submit from the dropdown.

Step 4: Enter the amount of time (in seconds) that you want the question to be up for.

Step 5: Click ‘Send.’

Respond to Poll

Once the poll is live, you can click on the option(s) you want to answer with.

Remove Poll Question

Step 1: Click on the red triangle symbol next to the question.

Step 2: Click ‘Remove Question.’

End Poll Question Early

Step 1: Click on the red triangle symbol next to the question.

Step 2: Click ‘End Question.’

View Poll Results

Step 1: Wait until the poll has ended.

Step 2: On the left side of the possible answers there will be percentages showing what percentage of the responses belonged to which answer.

Joining the Session

Check Remaining Time

Look in the bottom right corner of the presentation. The word ‘Live’ indicates there is still time remaining. Once time runs out the word 'Past' will display.

Note: The session will not ‘end’. Everyone will remain in the session until no one is on screen.

Send A Chat Message

Step 1: Select the ‘Chat’ tab in the chat window area.

Step 2: Type your message over ‘Type here’ at the bottom of the chat window.

Step 3: Press ‘Send’ or hit your ‘Enter’ key. 

Submit Question to Q&A

Step 1: Select the ‘Q&A’ tab in the chat window area.

Step 2: Type your message over ‘Type here’ at the bottom of the Q&A window.

Step 3: Press ‘Send’ or hit your ‘Enter’ key.

Vote for Question in Q&A

Click on the ‘Thumb’ button  underneath the question.
