1. Early check
- Join 30 minutes before “live” unless stated otherwise by CSM (30 is the default)
- Introduce yourself in the Mod (Something like “Hello everyone I am name with JUNO and will be available throughout the session to help with any issues or questions you may have!”)
- Test Chat by sending a simple message, but delete it afterwards so it doesn’t show to attendees
- Check for Polls by clicking the “Choose a question to send” dropdown. If there are any, make sure you can send them. If there are none and there should be, follow these instructions Questions
- Check for Resources by scrolling below the speaker view. If there are any, click them to check if the download is working correctly
- Click Edit
- Check that the Presenters section matches what is on the RoS. If it does not, tag the lead CSM in the internal channel to verify who should be a presenter
- Check for Pre-roll and note the length. Preroll to Live
- If the length is greater than the session time, tag the lead CSM in the internal channel to verify that you can extend
- Leave the Edit area by clicking Return to page
- Put yourself on screen in a presentable/professional manner (may be a profile image, not necessarily video) so they know somebody is there
- Let the Internal Slack channel know that you are in the GR
- If no speakers are there by the 15-minute mark, tag the CSM in the internal channel and let them know. Something along the lines of “15 minutes left in the Greenroom for session link and I have not seen missing speaker.”
- Depending on the client, you may also alert the Gameday channel
2. Check with speakers
- Have speakers test their Microphone by talking with you. If there are issues: [Here's a link]
- Have speakers test their Camera by turning it on. If there are issues: [Here's a link]
- Check Screenshare (ask if they’ll be sharing their screen) If there are issues: [Here's a link]
- If applicable, make sure they know how to share with sound
- If they need to leave the screen, show them how (More > Leave > Continue Watching)
- If applicable, walk through Breakouts Send attendees to breakout rooms

- Walk through Q&A, and make sure they understand their different options, how to respond by text, and let the speaker and their moderator decide how they want to handle questions.
- Have the speaker send a Poll. This can be deleted and resent again
- Verify that they see Mod, and let them know that is where they can reach you. The Mod section is only available to speakers, presenters, and 99 users. Attendees will not see this, so it can be used as a private chat.
- Walk through what Pre-roll will look like. “Abrupt” is a good word for the cutoffPreroll to Live
- Remind them that you’ll be there and available in Mod, but that you’re leaving the screen now
- Leave: More > Leave > Continue Watching
