Each speaker page needs these images and text. Some other items are optional, like downloadable files and links.

What content looks like

Before users open a speaker page, they might see the speaker featured in a rotator, grid, or list module. It displays the speaker’s image, name and abstract.

Modules can look different depending on their configuration. Learn more about modules.

Users can also find speakers on the session page where they’re speaking. The speaker’s image and name are displayed at the bottom of the page. Selecting the image opens a quick preview of the speaker, which displays their abstract and description.

Then users enter the speaker page. It displays all of their information, plus downloadable resources and links to the sessions they are speaking at.

File type and size

OPTIONAL
Downloadable resources

Size: We recommend under 10 MB for the fastest download speed. This accommodates most documents and images. The maximum is 10 GB, but we only recommend this for large video files.

Allowed file types:

  • Documents: .pdf, .csv, .xml, .zip, Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx), Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx, .pptm, .ppsx, .ppsm), Microsoft Excel (.xlsx, .xls, .xlsm, .xltm, .xltx, .xlsb), Apple Pages (.pages), Apple Keynote (.key), Adobe Photoshop (.psd), OpenDocument (.odt, .odp), Plain and Rich Text Files (.txt, .rtf)

  • Images: .png, .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .tiff, .tif, .webp, .bmp, .svg

Resources cannot be web links. We recommend adding links to the content description instead.

We support these major file types, but let us know if you have a different one. Our team will work with you to best support the use of that file type for your platform.

Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Website, Email, Phone number, Address

You can only have one of each type of link. For example, you can’t list two different Facebook pages.
