Global Announcements
Global announcements are an excellent way to stay current with your organization's latest updates and happenings. They can be featured on any page and link back to both the Global Discussions and Global Feeds.
Where to Find Global Announcements
Depending on how your site admin sets them up, global announcements may be called Announcements or Updates and can be featured on any page throughout your site.
Multiple Announcements
Announcement sections can feature multiple announcements and are sorted by the post's creation date, from oldest to newest.
Engaging with Global Announcements
Select any announcement post to view the full content. You will be routed directly to the original post in either Global Feeds or Global Discussions.
Once routed to the original post, you can like, comment, share, or reply.
Group Announcements
Announcements within groups can feature important updates and events within your group, such as a new group meeting, ensuring critical information is easily accessible.
Where to Find Group Announcements
Group Announcements are located on the About page, directly below the Description.
Engaging with Group Announcements
Navigate to the group's About page.
Scroll down to the Announcements section.
Select any announcement post to view the full content. You will be routed directly to the original post in either your group's feeds or discussions.
Once routed to the original post, you can like, share content, add comments, and reply.
