You can change elements of live sessions.


Session options that you control

You can make these changes when you add sessions to your site. The tools you’ll use are the content importer and front-end editor.

These options affect sessions individually. For example, every session can have a different capacity.

Session options controlled from the back end

The JUNO team can help you change more elements of live sessions.

Unless specified, these options affect all sessions on your site. For example, if you choose to remove the countdown timer, it's removed from every session.

When you first enter a session

If no one has turned on their camera or microphone yet, this message appears:

If people are talking or a video is playing when you enter a session, some browsers automatically start playing the sound. Others mute it until you click the video. You can control this setting:

Autoplay audio

(minus) Prevent audio autoplay
This requires users to click to start listening to the speaker or video’s audio when they first enter the session

The chat window is open by default. You can change this:

Moderator controls

These controls only show up for speakers, moderators, and admin users.

Backstage settings

These options affect the greenroom time and preroll video before speakers go on-screen.

(info) Set how many minutes early speakers and moderators can enter the session

Archived session recording

(minus) Don’t include greenroom time in recording

Clipped preroll video

(info) Change how many seconds early the preroll video stops playing backstage 30 seconds
This time allows speakers to prepare their cameras and microphones while attendees continue to watch the preroll
