You’ll notice one-on-one meetings work a bit differently in the app than they do on a desktop computer.

Schedule meetings in the app

In the app, you can schedule one-on-one virtual meetings with other people. Anywhere you see someone’s profile photo, tap it and select Schedule Meeting. See these articles to learn more:

Direct messages are another quick way to connect on the go!

Attend meetings on your mobile device

We recommend attending meetings using a desktop or laptop computer for the best experience.

But if needed, you can use your mobile device. (You will use your mobile internet browser because cameras and microphones aren’t supported on the app.) Here are two ways to do it:

Before you begin
For the best video quality, we recommend using the Google Chrome internet browser. Download it here.

From the app:

  1. Go to your Schedule.

  2. Once the schedule says the meeting is Live, tap to open it.

  3. If the chat panel is open, tap X in the top left corner to close it.

  4. Under the meeting title, tap Watch the live stream. This opens your mobile web browser. There, you can turn on your camera or microphone. See Turn your camera and microphone on or off to learn more.

Or from your email:

  1. On your mobile device, open your email app, like Gmail.

  2. Open the email notification that you got about the meeting. It’s most likely titled You created a meeting or [Name] created a meeting.

  3. Tap View Meeting.

  4. The meeting opens in your mobile web browser. There, you can watch, listen, and turn on your camera or microphone once the meeting is Live. See Turn your camera and microphone on or off to learn more.
