Advanced: Push Notification

Do you have an update for your registrants but your event is about to start and your registrants are already on their way to the event? A push notification may help you get your update in front of as many registrants as possible.

This process takes advantage of the Event Activity report. Every event has a shortcut to this report on the Attendees tab. Click on the down arrow next to the Add Registration button and choose the Event Activity Report. The repot will default to your selected event. Since we want to contact all registrants, you can simply run the report. Add the results of the report to a list/committee. Then, go to the Communication module and the Push Notifications tab. Select the list/committee you added the results of the report to and write and send your notification.

This is a good tool if most of your registrants are also members and have installed the MemberPlus app. If most attendees are members of the public or new to your association, your push notifications will not be visible to the majority of your registrants.
