Understand what content looks like, what all the parts of it are. New clients are interested in this; they don’t understand what a “session” really is made up of, or the demo sites they’ve seen aren’t necessarily configured with everything. This is place to find a generic outline of how it all fits together.
Quickly find image sizes, character limits, and file types.
CSMs want to be able to find an example quickly-- when someone asks “what’s an abstract,” they don’t have to go hunting for an example in the site structure workbook, or on a demo site, where it may or may not be there.
CSMs want to be able to send clients a page based on content type – because not everyone uses every content type, especially with learning/community -only sites.

Each session or in-person session needs these images and text. Some other items are optional, like videos and files.

What content

looks like
Before users open a session page, they might see the session in a rotator, grid, or list module. It displays the session’s image, name and abstract. Most modules use the smaller list image. Featured rotators use the larger banner image.

The schedule page is another place users find sessions. It displays the session’s name and abstract , without the image.

Then users enter the session page. When it’s Upcoming or Pastor Upcoming, the page displays an the image, description, downloadable resources, and any attached speakers and sponsors. The abstract isn’t displayed herebecause it’s meant to be a short preview or summary of the description.

When a the session is Live, there is no imagethe image is replaced by the session’s video feed. The rest of the information displays at the bottom of the page.
