The new Learning management system (LMS) is built on an upgraded version of the JUNO database. This means that some features of the new courses don’t work with the rest of the platform at this time, while it is still on the existing database. This causes some known limitations:Courses are the first, exciting introduction to our new Learning offering! As an evolving feature, they are not yet fully integrated with some existing JUNO functionality. We intend to add this functionality in future releases as we continue to enhance courses. Please talk to your Success Manager about any ideas or desires you have for courses on your platform.
For now, please be aware of the following constraints.

Can't recommend courses based on user interest tags from the existing database. This is because existing tags don’t sync to the new database. Can’t pull courses into rotator/grid modules on existing site pages (except for the new course catalog page). The workaround for this is to link to courses from other places, like on-demand content. Downloadable analytics reports for courses are separate from the ones on the existing platform. Analytics reports pulled from the existing platform don’t include data from the new courses. This is because the new database analytics don't sync to the existing database. But note that the data is not lost; It is stored in the new database (with the exception of resource downloads). The ability to get this data is a feature on the roadmapusers' interest tags. Course catalog pages can include multiple modules with various layouts, just like other site pages. And you can have multiple course catalog pages. (For example, a page for on-demand courses and a page for time-bound courses.) Here are our recommendations for helping users find your courses: Prominently display course catalog pages in your primary navigation bar. You can pull courses into rotators and grids onto other pages as long that page is set up in Pagebuilder. You can also highlight individual courses on existing site pages by creating a link to them from blurbs, billboards, or on-demand content.
Can’t preview courses while logged out on a public preview site. Accessing analytics for LSM courses varies from legacy courses. The analytics reports from the existing platform are exclusive to legacy courses and don't encompass data from the new ones. For comprehensive data on our new LMS courses, visit the courses dashboard. From there, you can download LMS reports and transcripts. Additionally, you can view and download LMS course analytics from the basic analytics dashboard.
