    About certificates

A course certificate is a static image that acts like a digital paper certificate. You can add a unique one to each course. Course certificates are off by default because they aren’t required in order for the platform to record that learners passed and earned course credit. They are just a bonus reward!

When learners take and pass a course with a certificate attached, they earn and can download the certificate. If they fail, they do not see the certificate at all. If you set up a course without any graded lessons or a course passing percentage, learners can still earn a certificate for participating.

    Note

Course certificates are not associated with Continued Education (CE) credits.
