Overview
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for joining navigating and participating in sessions on the V2 sessionsplatform. Depending on how your site administrator has set up the platform's configuration, the sessions Schedule page might be called EventsAgenda, PresentationsProgram, or another name.
Finding sessions
Visit the Sessions Page:

Search or Scroll:
Use the search bar to find a specific session or scroll through the list to locate the session you want to join.

Check the Schedule:
Active sessions might also be listed on a schedule page or in a schedule block on various pages throughout the site.
Joining a session
Select the Session:
Once you find the session you want to enter, select it. If the session is active, you will first see a flash of the splash page and then be taken to a preview page.
Preview Page:
On the preview page, you can set up your microphone and camera settings before entering the session.

Session splash pages

The session splash page provides all the details about the session, including:
Session Name:
The title of the session.
Type of Session:
The category or type of session (mainstage, breakout etc).
Location:
The location of the session, if applicable.
Like the Session:
You can like the session to show your interest.
Preview and Description:
A brief overview and detailed description of the session.
Moderators, Presenters, and Attendees:
Information about the people involved in the session.
Joining and attending
Joining an Active Session:
Select Join to enter the microphone, camera settings, and preview page if the session is active.
Attending an Upcoming Session:
If the session has not started, select Attend to be added to the attending list.
Past Sessions:
If the session has already ended, it will be marked as Past.

Checking when a session starts
To check when a session starts, refer to the icons next to the session title:
Upcoming: A calendar icon indicates that you can add this upcoming session to your calendar.
Live: A TV icon with a play button in the middle signifies that the session is live, and you can join it.
Completed: A canceled calendar icon shows that the session is over.
Each schedule Item will give you information about the session, including the Date, Time, Location, and Name.

Attending sessions from the schedule page
Using the main or left navigation menu, navigate to the Schedule page.
You can indicate attending on Live or future sessions on the schedule page.
Scroll or use the Search bar to narrow down the sessions listed.
Find a session you want to attend.
Select the Attend icon to add yourself to the session.

Unattending a session from the schedule page
Similarly, from the Schedule page.
Select any previously selected attending icon to remove yourself and unattend the session.

Adding a session to your external calendar
Select Add to Calendar from the left-hand side of the session name.
Select what type of calendar you want to use.
Verify the Date and Time are correct and select save.

Entering a Session from the Schedule
You can enter a session from the Schedule by selecting the TV icon with the play button, the session name, or the session icon image. If the session is Live, you will be taken to the Preview page and prompted to set up your camera and microphone settings and join the room. If the session is Upcoming or Past You will be taken to the Session Splash page
