Some lesson settings lock (cannot be edited) after the course starts. This article explains why, when it happens, and how you can unlock it.

How to unlock editing

🟠 Course in progress: Update This course is live but no learners have started yet. After adjusting the course live dates to make changes to lesson contentdates, you may still edit all course and lesson details.

After the course start date

start date
  1. Start Date so that it’s in the future.

  1. You might also be prompted to change the End Date and Close Enrollment Date, if these are now before the Start Date.

  2. Save changes.

  3. Once you are done editing, change the dates back to make the course live again.

🔴 This course has active learners in progress. Some parts of a lesson can no longer be edited.
